According to a release from the
college, students of two-year Post-Graduate Diploma in Textile Management
(PGDTM), one-year Post Graduate Diploma in Knitting and Apparel
Industry Management (PGDKAIM) and one-year Post Diploma in Home
Textile Management (PDHTM) got placement offers. Madura Garments,
Bangalore, Raymonds, Mumbai, Mas Holdings, Bangalore, VTM TEX, New
Delhi, Texport Syndicate, Mumbai, K.G Fabrics, Coimbatore, and Modern
Terry Towels, Ahmedabad were a few of the companies that recruited
students. The interviews started in March. The annual salary promised
ranged from Rs. 1.5 lakh to Rs 3.6 lakh. For students of PGDKAIM
and PDHTM, the annual salary ranged from Rs.1 lakh to 1.5 lakh.
One of the PGDTM students also got an opportunity to do a project
in the World Trade Organisation, Geneva.
