Foundation for Organisational Research & Education (FORE) is a non-profit making body. This was the brainchild of global leaders of acclaim from Government and Corporate sector. These top professionals had a vision to create a centre of excellence for research, consultancy, training and management education. The surplus generated at FORE is used in serving this cause. And while doing this, we at FORE also work towards the enlistment of the underprivileged section of the society. FORE, therefore, is a combination of objectives, which while serving the present also keeps the future well in sight. The unique FORE philosophy, since its establishment in 1981, lays special emphasis on being reasonable and fair with the flexibility to be competitive in today's environment.

With the globalisation of Indian economy in the 90's, the need for trained managers of international standards becomes critical. So FORE started its School on Management offering Post Graduate Management Programmes in 1992 keeping in mind the needs of tomorrow and with a mission to prepare the students to cope with the demands of the 21st century.

Certain aspects of education at FORE School of Management make it unique from other institutions. The curricula of the courses at FORE are constantly upgraded to help the future managers meet the challenges of competition and to avail of the ever changing market and business opportunities. It inculcates among students the spirit of self-learning and also keeps in mind that increasing competition entails immense stress on the individual.
