Krishna Menon Memorial Govt. Women's College named after one of the most illustrious sons of our country is the realisation of the long cherished dream of the citizens of Kannur. The pioneering work done by the "Cannonore Women's Welfare and Educational Society" and a number of other social workers who played a vital role in making the dream come true, deserves special mention. The inauguration of the college by Sri. Chekkeri Ahamed Kutty, the Honorable Education Minister of Kerala on 16.08.2025 marked a bright chapter in the educational history Kannur.
