Degree College started functioning 95-96 with B.A. History,B.Sc Computer Science andB.com Polymer Chemistry and B.Sc Mathematics had been started during 1999-2000 and 2001-2002 respectively. MSc Computer Science (Self financing) course under the auspices of information Technology Centre, Kannur University started during this yea. The college is named after Jb. N.A. Mammu Haji a Philanthopist and the then MLA of Peringalam constituency during 1982-94.
