The International Institute for Population Sciences
(IIPS) is one of the few Institutes set up solely for the purpose
of studying demography. The only institute of its kind in the world,
it was declared as a deemed university on August 15, 1985. Situated
at Deonar, Mumbai. The IIPS offers academic courses in Population
Sciences and takes major initiatives to strengthen the reproductive
health, research and training programmes.
