GIM is an exclusive Management Centre to develop core competence and corporate decision making skills in the students through value based education and is a pioneering institution offering MBA programme affiliated to the Bharathiar University, Coimbatore and approved by AICTE, New Delhi.

In appreciation of successful conduct of MBA programme, AICTE has approved the enhancement of intake from 60 to 90 students from the academic year 2002-04. The current intake of ninety students is split into two batches, comprising 45 students each.

Bharathiar University has recognised GIM as a Centre for Management Research leading to M.Phil and Ph.D. degrees.

The Institute was founded by Sree Guruvayurappan Educational and Charitable Trust in the year 1995. The governing council of GIM comprises of eminent academicians and leading industrialists with Emeritus Professor Dr.M.V.Pylee, Former Vice-Chancellor, CUSAT as the Chairman and Dr.Verghese Mathew as its Director.

Eligibility: Graduates of any discipline with not less than 50% marks are eligible to apply. Those students who are appearing for their final year examinations are also eligible to apply.

Test centres: Coimbatore, Ernakulam and Palakkad during July.
