Legal Remembrancer's Notification No. 41 dated 30th April,1949,
read with its amendment of the same date, all the above provisions
of the Act, Except Section 5, which provided for the transfer of
affiliation of the College situated within the University area from
the University of Bombay to this University, were brought into operation
from the 30th Aptil,1949, and thus the University was established
