N.S No 999.It is an Independent functioning college unit started in 3.9.92 It is affiliated to the Tamilnadu Dr. M.G.R Medical University and governed by its health and family welfare department. Nursing is a prestigious and beneficial course of great prospect being part and parcel of medical science, the science that promotes health and welfare of the humanity. According to the government proceedings Rc No 41442/Affin(3) 193 dated 21.12.93 issued in the academic year 1992-93 the permitted intake 50 Here the students boys and girls admitted are trained in nursing to foster nurse , protect the ailing people of all ages undergoing medical treatment and to promote their much precious health. the students, apart from receiving theoretical and practical knowledge of nursing and health care from the adequately learned and astoundingly accomplished teaching faculty , are given additional practical training in well established government hospitals of taluq and district head quarters including those of private hospitals run by specialist of international repute. The students passing out the nursing course leave the portals of the college well equipped to run nursing medical centers of their own.
